no mate, close though..i was taking part in home2rome
that old warhorse did 1500miles in 4days
including giving it the beans around the monaco circuit and a bit of rally cross flying up the col de turini (monte carlo rally stage)
i recon we should get the club involved with out of these rally's, it was superb!!
Had a Vauxhall PA Velox with petrol filler on top of the rear wing that collected rain water and chanelled it into the tank.
Had an 850 Mini that had sand put in the tank by the husband of the previous owner's girl friend a few days before I bought it.
But never owned a Maestro or a Marina so I can still hold my head up.
