I must say i wished i hadn't of bothered with last night. The idiot i am i arrived late! by the time i had changed the wheels and adjusted the suspension i had wasted 30 mins then about to go out and a red flag!!!!!
Then went out, popped back in after 2 laps as tyres seemed under inflated check the pressures everything ok! about to go back out another red flag!!!
Finally got out and found the circuit to be the slipperiest i have every driven on, an old Jag XJS was spitting oil out of it's exhaust everywhere!!!!!
There was some scary driving going on to say the least and i don't think i relaxed and enjoyed it fully because of this.
Great to meet Rob and see Big Stu and Fast Eddy again.
Whinge over lol.....

Sorry to hear about your experience last night, did you mention any of this to the pit lane marshals or the instructors in the evening?!
Usually if someone mentions problems like scary driving as you put it, or a particular vehicle dropping oil we would look into it as at the end of the day it was an open pit lane track day so our customer’s enjoyment and track safety are paramount as most of them are private road cars. (although last night did have alot of race cars out there, we cant stop that)
If it’s a vehicle related issue we can take it to one side and look into it further. If it’s driving standards we would look at the circuit cameras, pull the driver(S) in and offer them instruction, make key points and so on…
Unless something is mentioned at the time we cant do anything to rectify it. By all means come and find me if I'm about in future.. i do enjoy asking the guys to sling the black flag out if needed..

Bealo - I saw you buggering about in the boot and under the arches. I was talking to Glynn with the civic and wearing the black TFL Racing jacket.
Must say we soon changed to experienced driver trackdays due to the driving standards and cars that were found on the regular events - but hey everyones got to start somewhere and its the fun taking part that counts!
The worst trackday i ever did was when instructing at bedford autodrome on an Evo track evening - lots of very expensive cars being driven by idiots that couldnt handle a tesco trollley let alone a scuderia/caterham or porsche!!

I came into the Pits and told Big Stu who told the marshals and the Jag was brought in. What i am disappointed in was that the marshals in the posts around the track didn't see the Blue smoke pouring out of the back of the car.
I was gobsmacked that later on the Same Jag was out on track doing exactly the same shitty service as before.

You should have come over and said hello. Glynn saved my bacon the other week by changing a tyre for me at the lunch break at a trackday. Nice guy.
