Went round Silverstone International circuit last night with a bunch of Lotus. Great fun. LoT run a race series, as you know, coz the come to some of the sprints too.

Jedi does float my boat, but I kinda like the idea of having a tintop that can be driven on the road as well as going some competition. Would love a go in on, 280kg and 180bhp makes for a serious bit of kit!!!
Sounds like you want a Lotus then, as much as I am biased, it gives you both sides. The Europa has a lot of potential if you can stratch the budget, otherwise it is an Elise. Your budget might get to a 190hp early toyota car, same engine as in the 2-11 I brought to the last meet and lots of potential for more grunt if you feel the need later.
