<hr style="color: rgb(49, 49, 49); background-color: rgb(49, 49, 49);" size="1"> <!-- / icon and title --> <!-- message --> There is also an option to change the colour of the 'skin' now.

Simply go to the User CP or Quick links above and hit 'Edit options'

Scroll to the bottom and select 'standard' skin. Et Voila. Black text (although that can be edited like you would an email) on a white background.

Please dont gun me down big guy but, Having read logan`s thread and spoken to other "fringe members" I think that the new site is a bit "text heavy" Could we please have a simple to view homepage? The version one home page was perfect for the simple "nuckle draggers" like myself that could glace at and get an idea of what was the latest things happening! I also miss the gallery images on the homepage, Which i think sold the club, and made it stand out from the others. The homepage as it stands is great as is for a forum index (and those people who know how to us it properly!) But needs that bright clear simple homepage to make us stand out again! - I hope this is taken as constructive, and not as a winge?

I must agree with you Russ, and as you say please dont take this as critisism Stuart.
I feel that the old style home page gave us distinction where as the new one looks like just any old forum,
I know its early days and things have still got to be changed but may be food for thought as the first page image is the initial contact with the site and it needs to have WOW factor.
Just my opinion,
:cheers2:

The old one was a big risk - to support stu on this, I've seen the 'guts' of the forum and it's not a simple task - but overtime It will become something special.

Russ, Ginger Ninja and everyone else in the whole World :)

A front page will be there as soon as I can sort one out amongst a 60 hour a week job, a small holding and my gorgeous other half, organising events and having a life.

No offence taken. I mean that too, I take no offence from anyone's comments.
