Russ - my advice is you need to get yourself a more suited car if you wanna whoop Trev's ass! As the ole Yella beast is lacking in essentials. I would say you'd go quicker in a Standard WRX RA or STI than yours due to the improved gearing and LSD's!

You lot really do slay me with all this crap!!!!!

Russ, here's how to whoop Trev's ass!

Everyone get the same feckin car. You can then whoop each other's ass and see who's the better driver on the day, for peanuts and enjoy a good day's fun.

What's Russ going to do after he's bought something to whoop Trev's ass?

I know, go buy something else to whoop someone else's ass and then work your way up to an Evo VI and go whoop Logan's ass. Then Logan can go buy an Evo 10 to whoop your ass FFS.

Where's the fella from Abingdon in the GTR? He can come and whoop everyone's ass.

Competition is all about who can afford the better car with the fanciest gizmos Right?

Wrong!!!!!!!!!

What about Debden in Sept? Haven't seen regs yet but I'll be doing both Debden and NW.

What pads are you using with the plain discs Trev? Mintex 1144 and 1155 are supposed to be pre-gassed so don't need grooves.

Stu`s quite right! Its my mazda 6 sport diesel that`s over due up grading!
You don`t need to convince me about the pro`s of running a mx5 series.(it would put winning down to driver skills) I have been a long time mazda fan and have not ruled out the possiblity of an mx, but i have never even sat in one let alone drive one. And without embarassing myself to much, I cannot drive something with an out stretched leg driving position:(

i'l be using the wilwood track pads they dont actually seem to be to bad , they sqeal like a pig though. i had them on my last pulsar with the same brake setup on solid discs, i have a set of ebc green pads in the stores for wilwood 4 pots but i wont be using them (emergency only pads)
i think there is a crap range of pads for the wilwoods which is a shame

debden sounds like a plan , i see longcross is coming up real soon again, bit of a treck though

I thought Longcross had been cancelled?

Don't really fancy it as it's too far for me (wimp). :)

How can you put the words 'sport' and 'diesel' in the same sentence when you're not talking about my Citroen C5? :D

Russ, I bought a Dax Rush and the RX8 having never seen a Dax in the flesh or an RX up close.

If it can be driven, it can be driven. :)

I've never sat in an MX5 but I reckon I could still drive one.

Oh, and the C5 was bought on ebay and I'd never looked at one of those either.

I just like surprises. :)
