Power is nothing without control, but as we all know, Logan can really peddle.

I for one would love to see him drive a well set up, decent specified, rear wheel drive car with time to get used to it and time to grow comfortable with the advantages that rear wheel drive offers.

The next few months will be very interesting for some of us guys. Just how quick can a well set up track prepared M3 go, if one with no rear brakes, wonky suspension and no serious attempts can produce a 1'21"? :)

I'm well aware that Blacky can peddle and as you say power is nothing without control....

how much power do you need to be quick????

Who's M3 are you referring to in the well set up track prepared and no brakes and wonky suspension????

I used to really like the Supra but they're starting to look a bit dated now, in standard form anyway.

The irrepressible, MX5 is the way forward.

Stu

I was referring to mine when I mentioned the issues buddy. I reckon the whole 'quick' thing is very subjective. 1'20" in an MX-5 is blistering. In a 500bhp 4wd missile, it's pretty piss poor if all you're trying to do is set a lap time. If you need to drive home afterwards in it then that's another consideration.

The whole TA is a laugh. I'm not serious about entry but I'm serious about setting a lap time in a fortnight and then we'll have to see. No guarantee that Glen or Rob would let me run anyway.

I thought the Supra's seemed old hat until I started looking at some of Paul Whiffin's stock. That JamieP and Muffleman's Trial version. Very nice indeed.

I'm with Gerry though on the one make stuff.
