Christ it's early!
See you soon and good luck!
Hethel Round 6 of BP Champ.
well what a day of highs and lows again
firstly thankyou to all that lent a hand to repair the broken pulsar (adrian, russ, stuart, mikey, mikeb) after binning it in the kitty litter , hope you all got a bit of skin on your hands left , i know i lost a bit
a morning session i really would like to forget but the afternoon things got a bit better for me and gained some confidence in the car and myself, i had john start in my sights in his evo 8 on the last run but he trimmed an extra second of his time putting in a 75 something and me on a 76 something
was good battling it out with russ and mikey in the subarus as usual and i look forward to the next battle

Small one's are more juicy
I did the last run and ended up chatting before finally getting away at about 5:00
A really good day. Good to see everyone but a shame we were at opposite ends of the paddock. There was no way I was joining you lot on gravel and mud.
The Dax went well, apart from the low fuel causing it to have to be recovered on the second run. I was delighted that it drew some admiring glances and complimentary comments. Ended up smack in the middle of the class 6th and great to bein a decent sized class again.
One of the MX5s ended up in the tyres, been there, done that. Otherwise I don't think there were too many who came to grief, Trev's bumper excluded

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away!
Nice one Gerry,
When we wandered through and didn't see you I thought maybe you had decided to call it a day due to lack of fuel,
Glad you got it sorted though, and to end up in the middle in your 1st outing in it can't be bad can it.

Thanks guys, i got home in one piece!
What a great day! As Trev has said it was a day of highs and lows, It did`nt start off to well taking four petrol stations and a jorney into norwich city centre before i found a station that actualy had some super unleaded! But got there in the end,and got to heathel by 6.45am. I could`nt belive Trev binning it within seconds of starting the first practice lap, but was so pleased that with a lot of blue language, and nose bleads!?!? You soon had that aux belt back on! I Had an ok first couple of practice laps, and was realy getting to enjoy the track which saw me half second ahead of mikey by the end of the first timed run, but it had cost me a burst rad top hose, and ol` yella had wet it`s self all over the pit floor! But a massive thank you to logan for the spare piece of top hose and jubilee clip that thanks to ady and harry we bodged to fit as a temp measure. Seconded timed run was fun, with just point 4 of a second seperating Trev, Mikey and myself! So it was all down to the last run....... I gave it all i could, i so wanted to put in a good time and thought i just might have pulled it off? So imagine how peed off i was when after traveling the long pit return back to the pit entrance (lid off, belts off ready to jump out to check the times) When i`m told "Sorry could you do that last run again? our timming equipment broke half way round!" My mind was not in it then, as was told that my run was aready a second down on the previouse run by the third corner! -So i am last in class!:leaving: Well done Trev for pulling out that 76! I dont know if i got anywhere near it? Thanks mikey for the good sport! And well done logan for putting that 600bhp evo in his place! Sorry gerry i had`nt got a clue how you were getting on- time wise, if you left early that would explain why i could`nt find you to say...
Still tommorrow will be a come down day!
