Are you using reply or quick reply? The latter will not show smilies unless you hit advanced. Otherwise just hit reply and you get this lovely lot>>>>>>>>>
I'm using reply rather than the quick reply.

Do you just have to get the separate page with them on up and then copy and paste the code to get them to work? I don't seem to get a box with them in like before where you just clicked on them to insert them into your post.

Sorry for being a pain Stuart as I know you must have a lot more important things to sort.

To the right hand side of the window/pane that you type your response or post into, there should be a Smilie box. Obviously yours isn't there so I need to look into why.

In terms of having more important things to sort out, you guys are the ones that keep this forum running. What's more important than that? :coolgleamA:

Stuart,
Still no email notifications to subscribed threads. Peeps are posting lots on this one and nothing is coming through to me still. You said to let you know by this time tonight if it's still not working. :gnorsi:

P.S. Any chance of a thumbs up smiley yet :sifone:

Francis, have you enabled the option to receive email notifications in the 'User CP', 'Edit Options' then 'Default Thread Subscription Mode' set to 'instant email notification' ?

Stu, I dont know if this has been mentioned already but the 'edit email and password' option only gives the option to change a password and not update an email address. Could be why people havent got email addresses added and arent receiving notifications.

Francis; thanks for the heads up

Gareth; I think you're right for some of the issues but Francis email is the same (as far as I remember)

I will have some more time to work on this tonight when I get back from the track.

Thanks for your continued patience

Stuart, Email is still the same, nothing's changed.

Gareth, All the correct options are ticked and instant email notification is showing in the drop down box so it's set up as it should be.

My turn to help- have you set your message editor options to "Enhanced interface- full WYSIWYG editing"?

User CP> Edit Options> miscellaneous options at the bottom.
