Profiles now working - nice work Stu

Use Quicklinks to get to the edit functions ....

To all the others - you need to edit your profile information - you will see a left hand menu, go through the settings and turn on - show avatars, show signatures and show images .. then all the IMG bits will work again.

You also need to turn on private messages... woo hoo, we're back up - superb.

One thing I am keen to do is to reduce the amount of sub-forums that we have as many of them are barely used.

For example we have two seperate forums for media (general and events) Why?

We have loads of sub-forums for events; two for sprints for Gods sake

We have a plethora of members area and sales forums when in my opinion these could be massively thinned out to simplify the front end.

I'd appreciate some feedback please; am I alone in thinking that this could be tidied up?

Whilst I'm wielding the metaphorical magic wand (steady Tan) what other bright ideas, nagging issues are there?

Please try to explain your niggle, the irritation it causes and what you would do differently (ie don't just whinge, come up with a constructive solution too ;) )

I'd be happy to see a lot of the sub-forums merged if anything just to allow everyone to see what's going on collectively. Then you can just pic and choose your thread. There are areas of BP i go into more often than others perhaps i might pop into those less frequented bits more often if they were diplayed as just another thread under one umbrella.

P.S. Is there going to be a ratings system for members visible under your avatar like the previous 'merit star system' or are you doing away with that?

I think there's a strong argument for streamlining things.
Most people either do a search or just click the new posts button I'd guess.
As long as the search function works, then as the saying goes, it's all good.
Do Bens comments above mean the photos will be back in posts as before? Fingers crossed.
Excellent effort mate, there I was thinking you were daft!!!
