(unsure if its the Lambo on fire that makes me want to cry or the Chavstons stupid comments while video'ing it). Shame they didn't think to dial 999 first though.

Those idiots filiming are saddening.

What a waste of a lovely car.. did anyone call the fire brigade, surely in a busy town like peterborough the response time would be quite fast, that is if someone called it right away.

In my experience here at Snett the Italian cars seem to be prone to catching on fire. :( On saturday in the first GT race the Chad racing F430 caught light at the exit of russell, pulled over at Sear and was put out within seconds luckily.

On another note, just a little shot of a recent westfield xtr that caught fire at Snett last month on a track day.. and to think race suits and fire protective clothing isn't a requirement for track days.. :o i know some of you would never even consider not wearing them but for those who dont... have a think about it next time you do a track day in Jeans..it only takes a few seconds :!:

Seen plenty of Gallardo's on fire on YouTube. As has been said already, seems to be a common problem :o The shocking bit is the time it took for the FB to turn up. They may as well have let it burn for all the good it did putting it out.

Still.....lick of paint and some new carpets will sort that out!!
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!

As you say James, at the OPL event at Snetty last month we nearly had a disaster as My wife asked for a pax lap in the one in your photo and luckly Fezza said to Donna to come out with him first so she did.
Unfortunately it went up in flames and thankfully the driver had a fire suit on and the flames came under his helmet and as for the passenger seat where my wife may have been sitting...well is was just melted carbon fibre.

Not worth thinking about what could have happened.

You could have walked dragging the fire engine from either of the local stations quicker
