Hello chaps, Emma here, Russell's wife, I've hijacked the PC and this link! I love the images and want to be really cheeky.

I work in marketing for Sensient Colors UK Ltd, we manufacture colour for the food, pharmaceutical, house hold and personal care industries and the Ink jet ink industry.

Each month I trawl through flikr looking for images to use in our 'color confidence' ad campaign highlighted in The Recycler journal, I have used photos supplied by friends and colleagues in recent months.

My aim is to give unknown photographers a gallary layout to showcase their work, the campaign is used in the Recycler journal, poster campaigns, exhibitions and our company desk calendar. Full credit is given to the photographer.

We don't pay anything, but we do send the photographer a copy of the journal and any other media in which the image is used.

If you would like to send me images, like the ones above or if you would like more info please PM Russ and he'll pass on my e-mail address.

You can always check out previous ads by looking at http://www.sensientinkjetinks.com.

Sorry to run on but the photos above are really very good.

Thanks for your time

Em

Hi Gareth

I really like the Banham Zoo leopard one. The warmth and depth of colour and the look in his eye really caught my attention.

I try to look for something striking, that works well with the black background we use, nature, animal, floral, arty..... i never know what it's going to be until I see it.

For August I'm using an orange and black butterfly photo supplied by the Purchasing Manager at work, last month was a tree colored cat, I've used tropical birds, Jeff Clow on Flikr has supplied 2 images Water Beauty and Pastoral Portrait.

Does that help a little?
Em

Well I didnt manage to keep the photography thing as a minor hobby for long, I am proud to say that I have been asked to do a few profesional events recently. At least I have a way now of trying to recover some of the thousands spnt on kit. With a day-job I dont have the time or inclination to take it fulll-time pro, but I enjoyed doing the Hethel sprint at short notice, and still managed to get to Snetterton as planned for the afternoon. Here are a couple of teasers for the club, but as usual I still have a ton of images to run through (1,275 of the sprint after throwing out the dross, so still too many to process).

I have already had requests for more events, so will keep the better ones coming that maybe of interest to the club.

The BTCC race was on ITV4 this afternoon, what great racing, if you like dodgems.

We can take as many Hethel pics as you can throw at us Rob. Those MKII Escorts were fantastic to watch.

Why is it some pics are displaying OK and others, only the links?

I've tried posting a pic with the img tags but they were stripped once posted.

Any ideas?
