Looks like a top day, apart from Mr Grimes's issue. Man that must be the most unreliable car ever in the history of anything!!!

Almost slighty dissapointed I didn't come now :!:

Any links to the results??

Good write up, pix and vids. Takes me back... all of 12 months when the guy in the next bike shed was taken to hospital after roofing his MX5.

At a place like Goodwood there's no substitute for laps as it is damn quick and there not a conventional corner on it. No shame in that cautious lap Gerry - where had the rest of the convoy run gone? :)

I have a love/hate relationship with the place. I love driving away in one piece having done well and hate thinking about the consequences of getting it wrong before then.

It's one place I can say have proper scared myself.

Probably never again though as Evo is now sold to make way for a more sensible car I can drive every day without adding to my chiropractor's retirement fund or my overdraft.

Kim

PS now I have a new car I have loads of 225/45x17 wheels and tyres to shift...

Cheeky sod Kim!

The convoy leader was in sight approaching the sequence of bends with the Shell building. I was up on the GT40 by 6 secs. I was watching for him having driven through his dust cloud at that twitchy corner, just before the grass mowing bit.

So what car do you have now and do we get to chase it?
