dont think it is that, i think it is coming from the pressure side of the turbo.
enginetuner said it could/might be the turbo, and worth checking out.
the avcr is set at 1.6 bar, but it only really gets up to 1.55 bar, but it could be down to the hot weather.
the next step is getting it on a rolling road to check to see if there is a leak anywhere, or take the bonnet off, and get a mate to hang onto the engine way?

An MY51 scoob i worked on recently made exactly the same noise, identical. Duncan is the closest in terms of location :thumb:
It turned out that he had only tightened up 1 of the bolts on his bov where it bolts onto the top mount intercooler. After carrying out the highly technical 'Bubble Test' using diluted washing up solution  you could see bubbles eminating from the flang on one side only. Although it was leaking air the whole time it only farted under boost conditions.
When the bolt was tightened up it was cured.

Spray lots of bubbly water an area at a time and just rev the engine steady to to about 3K rpm when you should be at the start of boosting and watch for bubbles, they won't be hard to see. Even at fast tickover you'll get bubbles.
Start with all the silicone pipes, intercooler and bov area and inlet manifold last of all. If there is a leak you will see bubbles. Watching your very high quality video (lovely quality by the way, nice audio too) i am convinced you have a leak somewhere around the intercooler/Bov area. Definately a leak boost side anyway. I'll be on tenterhooks till you say where the leak is.

I have done the bubble test and found nothing at all. After I went for a good drive with my dad and the noise was there like in the vid, but after around 5 mins driving the sound was still there but quiter. Any more ideas, am thinking the only way really now is a rolling road test. Unless anyone wants to lend me there ears to what they might think it is?
