what a evening

after a successfull few laps a simple seal popped out pissing oil every where

fair play to james and marshalls they were in seen in a few secs lucky no flames

and then to see a rac truck pull in,i was happy to pay my money as im sure it will be used again!

Thanks to stu for the best briefing on a track day short and to the point.
And a excellent evening. (and tyrells for a excellent steak and ale pie chips beans and gravy)
Only thing think the cars telling me it needs a rest and maintance i think the car will be out for the rest of the year now due to it pushing oil out the head breathers. All the best mike.

What a bummer! What you're really saying is, you realise the opposition has now caught up with you and you can't take the pressure :roll:

I'll be doing a compression test later and try to discover why the water keeps blowing out. It was fine all the way home with the temp guage where it should be.

Thats good to hear gerry. on the way home the engine is fine good oil pressure no noises. but still getting a lot of pressure even at a steady 80 mph.
Does anyone have any ideas?
As for your comment mr houghton you may be getting closer but its a bit like f1 youve got to pass me on times.
I could always double drive your car? mike

Compression test for you too I reckon. Holed a piston?

As for the double drive. I wouldn't dare. Can you begin to imagine the relentless cr@p I'd have to go through if you beat me :o :blah: :grin:
