Have a nice relaxing weekend Trev while the rest of us sweat it out literally and metaphorically
Russ, I'll be taking most of the usual cr@p but probably won't have what will be needed. Plenty of properly organised folk there to scrounge off if desperate.
For those going for the first time:
Try to get there early. Go sign on straighyt away and get in the scrutineering queue. The queue is a mile long and takes forever. Don't miss the briefing. It's held in the big marquee just beyond the end of the scrute. queue and gets packed.
Most important, get out of the briefing and into YOUR queue for YOUR convoy run. In the confusion, it's easy to get into the wrong one, well it was for me on my first visit
Then, BREATHE
At sign on you get 2 lots of 4 tickets stapled together. One lot for each of the two courses. In each lot there are two practice tickets and two run tickets. Hand the appropriate ticket to the start queue marshall, when they ask for it. No ticket, no run.
If I think of anything else, I'll post.
Logan and I have been before so you shouldn't be too lost.
