Russ, I'll be taking most of the usual cr@p but probably won't have what will be needed. Plenty of properly organised folk there to scrounge off if desperate.
For those going for the first time:
Try to get there early. Go sign on straighyt away and get in the scrutineering queue. The queue is a mile long and takes forever. Don't miss the briefing. It's held in the big marquee just beyond the end of the scrute. queue and gets packed.
Most important, get out of the briefing and into YOUR queue for YOUR convoy run. In the confusion, it's easy to get into the wrong one, well it was for me on my first visit :oops:
Then, BREATHE
At sign on you get 2 lots of 4 tickets stapled together. One lot for each of the two courses. In each lot there are two practice tickets and two run tickets. Hand the appropriate ticket to the start queue marshall, when they ask for it. No ticket, no run.

I`m driving the scoob to the event this time, as the coilovers are on! And my god!
the wobble bus feel soooo strange to drive now 
its got to be better, just three years of rolling round the corners, i`d got kinda use to it! So if i come hurtling towards any of you folk backwards tomorrow, it will probably be because ive still not found the balance ponit!

A bit touch and go atm.
Been working on the car all day and my 'mate' has fitted the air box. Started it yesterday and completed it today. In the process, the PAS reservoire had to be disconnected and it seems a fair bit of fluid was lost.
Long story but. On the way home, I stopped and dialled 999 for the fire brigade. The steering fluid had soaked into the new exhaust wrap on the headers and caught fire. I saw the smoke behind and pulled over, lifted the bonnet to see flames around the headers. Called the FB and then realised I'd put a gallon of water in the boot in case of a water problem. As I was speaking to the FB guy, I was pouring the water down the side of the rad and over the headers. Fortunately it did the trick and I managed to get it home.
Checked under the bonnet and noticed a steady drip from the plastic, rad, drain tap. So I now have to get the rad out and see if I can fix it.
Fingers crossed I'll see you tomorrow.
