Boredom, no talent, zero patience and little in the way of tools and utilities have always lead to some interesting experiences with my cars.

This latest chapter is no different :D

Frank needed painting. Partly because lipstick red is not gangster enough and also because the existing paint is a bit inconsistent; not that I'll be taking this to any polishing parties with the owners club. They would spit their Pimm's across the pub car park when they see this)

Anyway, the strip down has started and the front bumper, headlight surrounds, grille and wheels were the first victims

Image Please note the expert use of supporting wheelie bins. (All of the top bodyshops do that)

I did have some help and it's only fair to acknowledge the staff

At this point I ran out of discs for the DA that had also gone missing (Thanks Rob :D ) but I'll get around to the rest in the next week or so

Excellent Trev

I wondered whether anyone would notice the extent and effort I went to in preparing this :)

I did shake the cans though, so it wasn't without a degree of input. I did notice that the car has the biggest bloody silencers on there I have ever seen. In the interests of weight saving and uncultured noise at the aforementioned meet, they'll be coming off :)

PS; the wheelie bins have got more paint on them than the Jag

No worries Trev. Dan, you and I should rock up at one of their Gala days in the Summer 8)

I am chuffed with the stance of the thing and there will be several influences on the car from 'our world' (cable tied bumpers etc)

I have even considered swapping the old wider 888's off of the BM onto the spare set of tyres for Frank.
_______________________________________________________
Man, I can feel myself getting all excited and seeing the 888's on there, bigger XJR brakes, harder bushes all around, thicker ARB's
This car (and my wallet) is doomed

I'll probably finish the paintwork by Friday, so then it just needs a new tyre, some rear pads and then an MOT

Just in time for some Summer nights........
