Knowing Zak he would have set your geometry for fast road use.
If you tell him you want it set for sprinting, then you'll get more camber at the front and rear. But this isn't so good for every day driving.

Personaly on the scoob i had very minimal caster.

As the car is shell's daily driver ive got to be careful etc. I'd like to be able to have 2 settings and know how to change it etc but I'm not sure how practical that is etc.

I'll make sure i put some more front pressure in the fronts for sprinting and see how i get on.

On the tyres front trying to find a set of spare wheels so i can run 888's but not doing very well on that front. Might have to look at getting the arches rolled and go for a set of late sti wheel's as they seem to be common and cheap etc.

Dunc do you think its worth me looking at a set of rear brembo's in terms of helping with my speed reduction?

get adjustable top mounts on teh front.

Then whack the camber over for sprinting (the toe change won't be too bad) and then put back for road setting.

The rear brakes will help stop the car pitching forward (lifting the rear), But as for stopping, it wpn't make mutch and you just need decent pads up front. i think you have ds2500's now and would be worth chaning to Pagid 29's or Performance friction.
This will give all the stopping you need

If your going to change to R888's then don't get the suspension set till you've driven with them on, it'll transform/change the handling from what you run now.

For Sprinting you don't need silly sized big brakes, yours are fine, just get some decent pads in there and fluid thats all you'll need.

The biggest thing is to really learn the car, if you keep changing stuff then you'll end up chasing your arse as you'll not know what the car will be doing as it will be always different!

Do you have a Uprated rear ARB?? THis is a cheap mod that'll make a big difference.

Anti lift and arb's done, front and rear brace top and bottom ( at least will be after next week). On the top mount front I was looking at the BC rm series or kw v3's but didnt know if I could go one step down as theres a big cost difference and I could re-coup some of the costs against the koni's. This would obviusly allow me to learn to run different set-up's etc.

Logan I think itll be next season before I get the R888's as the search for a second set of alloys that will clear the AP's isnt going very well and if I go for sti alloys then I'll have to find a decent coachworks etc and dont really want to roll the arches if I can avoid it. plus if I find some alloys they will prob have some tyre life left on them and it seems pointless not using them etc.

I'm looking at driver training as we speak so will hopefully have some sorted either before the next sprint or certainly by the round after next.

I ran the AP's on mine and never had any issues with wheels.
Had a set of 17" roto's and a set of 17" speedline's

mike I know, just not many sets of second hand ones kicking around. On the training side of things sorting some stuff out with Maxx and have an invite to a club sprint everymonth near me that'll allow me to put into practice the training plus get some additional pointers from some of the guys there who compete regularly.
