Set a sunday to one side mate and i will book off a day to give you a hand May even bring Suz along to make sure it gets done properly.
Make up a list of must do,s and would likes and we will have a day on her all guns blazing.

Cheers Jay, will have to take you up on that... though it may be a long list, LOL

Regarding the shell, Jason- mine's not too bad (better the devil you know  ), and unless it's a non-sunroof shell it'll have similar problems under the headlining. It's 'only' the sills that really need attention on mine as the usual things that rot have been repaired in the past. Thanks for the offer though bud, it's much appreciated. If it was an easy job to replace the main fusebox I'd have that off you. :-D

Well, it's been a while since I've had anything worth updating this thread with- but I think this will do!

After umming and ahhing about what to do with the car, I decided to take it off the road over Winter so I could tidy it up, sorting all the niggly faults and getting ready for a final year of trackdays and such before moving on. Then, while looking through PassionFord I was stunned to see Christian had suddenly decided to call it a day with his RST. And that he was selling various parts off. Parts that I liked.... Anyone see where this was going? :D

My Focus ST170 300mm single-pot brakes had took everything I threw at them, but you always want more...

So, I bought his 330mm 4-pot Brembo set-up! (Bear in mind he ran 16's, not 17's like me)-

Then, with the ball rolling, I started thinking about my engine. It's been in there since August 2005, and performed well with barely any faults and still runs sweetly (just the usual Ford CVH headaches, like a taste for cam lobes). To be honest I just feel it could do with a freshen-up.... but why spend money on a 'good' engine pushed safely as far as it can, when I could simply buy a 'fantastic' one that

Cheers Pablo, funds permitting it'll be on track this year or at the very least it'll make it to the meets (haven't any cash spare for track-time, let alone parts to build it, lol).

It's really nice to see some of Christian's RS parts being recycled for use in your project. Great work Danny, really great work :D
