Hi to all

Post by Mikey »

Newbie here just saying a quick hello.

My name is Mike, and I was recommended this site by a good friend of mine, Bealo. My current motor is a 465bhp Audi B5 S4, but hopefully this will soon be gone, to make way for B5 RS4 which won't stay standard for long.

It looks like you guys are very active, with doing lots of trackdays etc. Not so sure I'm as active as you all, although I'm not a track virgin. I've only ever done two UK trackdays, both of them open pit lane at Oulton Park.. But I have experienced "The Green Hell" first hand, and I'm now addicted. I'm actually going there soon, on the 30th May for 3 days. Can't wait! Also, I'm looking to do a Carlimits day soon, maybe with Bealo.

I'll try to get some pictures uploaded of my current ride, although they'll soon be out of date when it's gone..

Looking forward to meeting you guys at the track someday, I'll be the one at the back...

And if you hadn't already guessed, I'm a massive Audi fan..

Mike

Welcome Mikey

cracking car Sir. It will be interesting to see that hurling around the track. That must be a challenger with all of that weight?

Do you have any details of the new car? Not familiar with that one :?

Hello Mike

Glad you came and had a look. i told you you would like it.

Good to get another German car onboard to combat all the rice rockets lol.

Mike does all his spanner work himself and has done one or two engine conversions in his time which i'm sure he will disclose in the projects section sometime soon.

It is a little on the heavy side, but it handles well. The new car will be a B5 RS4. It's basically a wide arch Quattro A4 Avant (estate) with a 2.7L V6 twin turbo, producing 380bhp as standard, but 500-600bhp (190mph) is easily achieved.

Can someone tell me the secret of uploading pictures from my PC? :?
