If it helps Russ, I absolutely hate losing. There are all of the good reasons in the World why I may not be as fast as someone else, but I always, always think I could have done better.
I was pig sick at North Weald. Gutted.
But today was a little better and the car, whilst still trying to kill me at every opportunity, is catching me out less often and the 'proper' circuits should suit me just fine.
Well done to all winners and losers for driving in what would be called changing conditions. Had a good day car ran faultless now the brakes are sorted and i have good feel thanks to aps for sorting the pads out. And paul at zen for mapping the car to have such a smooth power delivery. As everyone has said also good to put names to faces. Good job also to stu for being the paddock mechanic on the impreza so he could keep running. The biggest wahoooooo goes to mike shearing for going 16 seconds faster than his first run and taking a well deserved first place in b5. Good to see everyone nice and friendly as useual, good news to all gerry didnt spin so geo and new bushes must be working. And gerry you are getting closer and when that win comes will be all the sweeter. Next event will be goodwood for me so if your going to abingdon its a good venue because there is not as much waiting about with two courses being run have a excellent day and good luck. mike b
Hello andy they performed very well in the damp conditions didnt try them in the wet because started chucking down while on the line with the slicks on. But would recomend them to anyone that wonts a alround tyre compared to a 888 that is
