I went out on that last run, and played cautious george through the first sector and blew it! :x No one else to blame but myself!- can`t even blame the wobble bus! Yes the other guys may of been able to have normaly gone much quicker, but the way that i see it, It was there at my finger tips!!! is this a normal emotion in competitive motor sport?

Trev's little off-age was pretty minor, but God we laughed!!

Incident free Russ, not to say free of tank slappers, but free enough :)

Good to see you all today and sorry for not being around much lately.

Had a little issue on the way home with the temp. guage right round on H. Top hose was red hot as was that side of the rad and the other side and bottom hose were stone cold. While I waited for it to cool I had horror pictures of blown head gaskets, sticking thermostat, buggered water pump, etc. When it did eventually cool enough to take some water, it only needed 1.5 litres so it may just have been too low to circulate. The final few miles were fine.

Another good day, apart from the weather which was nothing compared to a wet Debden, so you newbies can think yourselves lucky.

Some good results were had. Mike S what a brilliant time to pull out the bag at the last minute :thumb: Poor Trev. He just missed the winning time along with 2nd (?) gear through the chicane. Great result for Lee, a winners pot for the mantle piece and the car was going well.

Glad that Simi's issues were sorted after travelling all that way and staying overnight on a cold, wet airfield in deepest, darkest Suffolk and a good improvement on the time once the car was out of limp-mode. Now get the speed limiter sorted with a conversion box from KPH to MPH and it'll do more than 112.

Russ, that tent was superb. Thanks for bringing it. You saved my stuff from a real soaking and me from a miserable day. Car has improved no end with the suspension change. It would have been downright dangerous round Bentwaters on soggy suspension.

Russ of the Masterful Gidz was going very well as usual and the car looked good mate.

Even Baz was there doing very well on what is considered a power course with what is considered a low power car

Stu, sort yourself out and get an entry in for Abingdon, you won't regret it. Was hoping to get to chat but as usual, the day just disappeared. Maybe Weds. at Snett?

Ady, make yourself useful and get those pics up, there's a good chap

Shame Logan and Harry weren't there but it was their loss.

Finally, what the bloody hell do I need to do to catch, or even get anywhere near Mike bloody B? :o Even 3rd fastest wasn't good enough coz' he got 2nd FTD. He was 8 seconds quicker than a 550 BHP Impreza. EIGHT bloody seconds. :o My only hope would seem to be sabotage. I'm fed up getting nowhere using fair means, it'll have to be foul from now on  Well done mate, a brilliant result. And well done everyone. The BP spirit is still going strong. :thumb:

See you all Weds for some weighing in.
