I bet that was a shock!

On the bright side Rob, as Gareth says, these things are getting more rare all of the time. As a medium to long term bet, this should be a winner.

Once you're on a circuit, Vtec wound up and you're pinging through the gears, the memories of a bit of welding will be long gone.

Post by Rob_B »

ok the gearbox was removed today to indentify the reason the car had problems selecting gears

i was told by the previous owner that the car had only just had a clutch change....so you can guess my surprize when i was saw this :o

time to spot the difference with the clutch faces...hmmm

Sorry to see the state of the clutch Rob. Looks like one face just sheared off the rivets completely. I know it was changed by Mr Clutch in Norwich not many miles ago as I delivered it to them myself, but I wasnt driving it when the clutch failed.

To be honest, I think you're over reacting with the car

It's a nice, rare JDM model, overall great spec and even better considering it was a Cat D :D

Only kidding buddy. Once you out there in permanent V-tec mode, all of these niggles will pale into insignificance.

The car os looking great by the way. Those new hoops turned up yet?
