Defintitely on for tomorrow. If I can't maintain boost in the T5 I'll go and get the shed and do it in that.
Stu,
do we need to ask for Tony having paid for initial entry? (Before we pass scrutineering?)

Best of luck for tomorrow Rob

If all else fails, come and borrow Betty and the trailer, then go and do the quarter mile stuff :) The car is there whenever you want a play in it ;)

Let us know how you get on buddy :)

Awesome day today, sun was out, cars were fast (well faster than mine) and the racing was fun!
Just uploading the pics, will post soon!
Scott, sorry I did nt get to say hello, I recognised the car, but never got chance as one of us was always behind the wheel.

PS Got the old girl into the 15's, so not bad for a 14 year old 1800kg car. :D (Did nt even blow it up!)

Well done Rob. 15 seconds is actually pretty crap but at least you were out there doing it :D Only kidding partner, for a near two tonne car with that level of power, that's not a bad time and the terminal of 90 odd MPH shows that the tank has got a few beans under the bonnet.

Did you get any photos of the cars or the event? Which part of the airfield did you guys use?

Was a good day but too packed spent most the morning quing to sign on etc
Really struggled all day with grip -concrete surface makes it very difficult for fwd especially when compared to the pod :?

best I managed was 13.25sec @117mph -car was flying but couldn't grip until 3rd gear

Great terminal speed Scott, a bit 'too' good maybe? That would suggest a brake horse power figure near 400bhp at 1150kgs for the car on its own. Is that the right sort of numbers for you?

Bloody good whatever though. What did you get at Santa Pod as a comparison.

Bloody hell! The range and quality of the cars looks superb (and to think I missed this as I was working :x )

The graphite mk1 Escort with aero and orange GTO are my favourites but there are so many really fine cars there......... Love the 760 Volvo 8)

It was no surprise to see Rob Gallagher from TR Racing there with a strong turnout. Obviously he's better at tuning cars than designing sticker layouts judging by his wide arch R32

Thanks for the photos. June will be an awesome day if this is anything to go by. How many runs did you get in the end?
