I spent the last hour doing a little write up.

I have a multi button mouse. One side button takes the screen back a page.

As I reached, without looking, for the mouse.............

Lost the feckin' lot. :x :x

Basically, Good to see you Rob and thanks for the pics and videos.

Well done everyone, looking forward to Bentwaters.

Good stuff lads

Glad you freshmans enjoyed the day and had a laugh! Nice to meet you all.

Well done Lee, you were really driving that Clio, shame you just missed out on a class victory on your first outing! As for the next few rounds Lee, get that Evo out....lets see what you can do :wink: :D :twisted:

I had a good day, nice weather, nice people, good banter! And I enjoyed trying to beat the WRC car :D :D

HOW WAS IT FOR YOU?
If anybody is dithering about taking up sprinting do it do it now dont mess about get your licence and give it a go.
So how was my first time Fantastic
Very different to driving round Snetterton in cruise mode, this focuses the mind, so much so that nothing else exists fo a couple of minutes the light goes green and suddenly all nerves go and suddenly you are back in the Paddock wondering what time you did and what happemed to those few moments of your life.
As the day wore on I started to drive more within my capabilities which saw the times come down quite well except for first timed run someone moved the gate for my return through it on the bottom section so that time didnt count. I think that the air was pretty blue in my car
Second run and I was determined to do this one right, I started thinking more about what I was doing than just blasting off and trying to get in the same week as the others in B5 especialy that ringer Stig posing as Logan or is Logan posing as Stig.
What made the day for me? the people, the advice, the help and of course the adrenalin, will I do it again Damned right I will
Thanks to everyone who gave support and encouragement
Harry

Average Speeds

Post by AdrianP »

Hi Guys,

I got to wondering how fast you lot were going on Sunday so I got the calculator out :idea: (ok...ok... I did a search on the net to do it :oops: )

Course length stated as 2.78Km

All worked out from your fastest times

Harry = 58.21mph

Russell = 59.35mph

Lee = 60.83mph (61.24mph if you deduct the 5sec penalty from the middle run...)

Stuart = 61.84mph

Trevor = 62.74mph

Gerry = 64.94mph

Logan = 67.16mph

Slowest average speed on the day was 52.83mph, fastest was 73.38mph (75.37mph in practice) :o

So, well done guys
