Good news and bad in this thread but congrats to all those who managed to compete in this round and a "well done" to Dunc as usual top effort.
Sorry to hear of the break in and as Stuart has sa insurance hopefully and hope nothing of sentimental went with the haul.

Rumour had Shane who won club, eased off, so as to avoid the 5% rule!.
rumours mate
was held up on lap and when i went back out to ensure i didnt get beat i had no brakes thats why i drove round and came back in.

when i went for another flying lap, as i went into first corner foot nearly hit the floor but was just enought to let me control it round the corner.

so if someone had gone quicker i can guarantee you the time was as it was i had no chance of beating the time.

terryb wrote: I don't understand why Shane Smith was in Club - he was 2nd last year with a 1.32 and this year qualified with a 1.33 - which would have put him 4th in Club Pro qualifying this year. Something not quite right there!!!
people that have gone up are mostly in new cars or have done loads to there cars from last year.
some are from pro that have moved down...........

i couldnt get the 34 ready in time so was nearly a non entry but wanted to compete.
spoke to time attack and i agreed to despec to club rules to enter in club as i had major issue sorting cars,
god knows why but was a nightmare over last 4 to 5 months with cars.

in my honest oppinion i dont see why anyone has to step it up if car is in club spec rules but that is my oppinion.

ANYWAY

Well done Duncan well deserved mate well happy for you.
however you may as well book the wash now the champs is coming your way.

The car has been repaired to make do for now, and we had it out on track on fri with no issues... so fingers crossed no unseen probs will rear there head again like in Oulton Qualifying and Final

high boost.... a bit too much right foot too rearly.... wet slippery track.

The diff settings were pretty much set to 100% rwd on corners too...

We dont have HICAS any more.....

Boost comes in a lot harder than before....

A few reasons, but basically I think Fee was just caught out in the wet! You live and learn :)
