Good to get back in time to see you guys enjoying yourselves today!
A reasonable mix of cars with some old favourites there.

What a great day!
Anyone thinking of doing a sprint....go for it! you will not be disappointed! Great to meet up with the rest of the bp sprint crew! Yes its official i`m hooked! I spent the journy home thinking how i could have knocked some more time off :?: . Next time out i`m going to try and give TK some real compitition( i hope!) :wink:every lap i tried to close the gap, you responded with a quicker time! :( - but i must get the wobble bus sorted first, i think i was the only person on the day to get their bumper scrapping the floor :?:
Logan- its true your a bit bloody quick mate! Still well done!
Stu - your an animal! Everyone else is looking for the smoothest line round..... not stu. line up cone, dab brakes, yank hand brake, drift sideways and smoke tyres while lining up next corner! :o
Gerry- i know you were`nt pushing to hard due to bad dett, Still i cant wait to see Ady`s photo`s
Lee- well done mate, so close to taking your class win! and thanks for the tool loan!
Harry- well done chap, still pushing it dispite no 2nd gear sincro

looks like everyone from bp that attended had a great time, i know i did
no major dramas from the pulsar apart from drivers seat collapsing and driving like im cruisin southend seafront (very laid back) apart from the geo needing a little bit of work im happy with the little thing.

i look forward to the battles ahead russell :-D you done well with the car/boat hybrid  them shocks are so so soft , and no going nicking harrys leeda's when he's not looking

harry come good in the end slashing his time and looked over the moon

lee was fairly swift in the clio and sadly missed out on the class win (but did get a secong in class aswell as a trophy/plaque thing that i picked up for you as you went before results)

logan - nothing to say but: the guys not human   well done on class win , if you had not got a late entry it would have been my first win

great to see gerry and stu battling it out in the other class
great to see stu with the stick

and ady i look forward to the pics , sounds like you have a few to sort out :thumb:

looking forward to round 2 now

BP results in class/fastest times

(No order and HC system yet to be applied)

Lee 2nd 102.23

Logan 1st 92.59
Trev 2nd 99.11
Russ 3rd 104.77
Harry 4th 106.82

Gerry 1st 95.76
myself 3rd 100.56

To put Logan's time in to some context, do you remember we were talking about a 75k WRC Impreza entering? Logan beat it by 2 tenths!!

A wonderful day out guys, I loved the whole thing. A third for me was disappointing after beating the Sierra throughout the earlier timed stuff, only for him to nick me by 2 tenths in the last run. That aside, I had a great time with the car behaving brilliantly apart from a slightly dead gearbox :? Bit of luck I have a spare. It has suffered a lot of hard use and todays little handbrake/rev limiter sodding around won't have helped.

It was lovely to see Lee, Harry and Russ all getting out there and doing so well whilst having so much fun. I hope that it may act as encouragement for anyone dithering; sprints are cheap, socially superior and a wonderful proving ground to boot. Proved to me 100% that I should be prioritising competition over trackdays.

Very well done to Gerry and Trev. I was having mini battles with both throughout the day, beating each other at various points until they ganged up on me and kicked my arse (4wd turbo'd tractors 2- rear wheel drive NA tart 0) Gerry deserved to beat me as did Trev but I'm sure the tables will turn at another round.

Superb driving by Logan once again. Almost so good no-one makes a big deal of it anymore.

Huge respect to Lee also. 2nd in class on his first run out although I think Willow will struggle to get her car back now :)

Thanks to Ady for taking the photos. I hope that was the introduction to sprinting that you all hoped it would be. See you soon guys

Well done guys, sounds like you had a great time.

Good news on the results !!

Very impressive Logan, what is that Evo running ?

Blimey if Gerry was taking it easy and got that time, what will it be like when the full engine is unleashed !!!!

Is there a link to the results for all types of cars ?
