Interesting day with a number of possibilities. Some very generous offers of help ranging from the use of an ECU to the loan of a very competitive car.

I managed to get hold of the manufacturer and after a very pleasant chat, the ecu is winging its way to them as we speak and will be arriving back here, fixed and ready to plug in on Saturday morning.

Now that kind of response is something the Subaru service community could certainly learn from.

Looks like I could be lining up with the rest of D10 after all, at a very wet, cold and bleak North Weald, to get an arse kicking from a WRC car.

So does this mean even though the ECU will be here you cant get it mapped ?

The repaired ecu should have it's original map. If not, it can be emailed and then put in. I hope.

I hope it all works out, but if I were you, if I can work out what the competitive car is you've been offered I would say your is still broken

I would of offered a doublr drive as well but I knew you'd turn your nose up at driving an Evo :roll:

What could possibly go wrong.....its up for sale and someone uses it in competition.....err no thanks....it'll stay tucked up nice and shiny in my garage now unless you have a nice wad of cash and then you can keep it if you want

I got my fingers crossed for you too! And like tk has offered, if all else fails you are welcome a shared drive in mine,-- think of it as a back to basic`s experience :-D , what yours was probably like before you played with it!

- ive had to put up with looking on while harry has wragged my `ol yella senceless for the past few years! :? . I think the general feeling is that you`ve put a lot of work in to sorting the sprint series, so you should at least be able to come and play!
