I have still to post the 'late braking' video - well using the word 'late' is an understatement - I think stu was braking 3 hours after the day had finished
- I for one had the pleasure of the mentioned session - 30 minutes of passing cars flat out that had already braked for the corner, some people like their comfort braking too much.
I've tried to post the vid but for whatever reason it's not there this morning - I spent over 5 hours getting the video's online - they're quite big !.
Stu, I did think we were going to mount the desert capri

Ben, I thought I was going to pull him on like an old wellie at one point.
As much as I like watching these clips and enjoy the track day stuff, I feel a mounting pressure (down Shep) to change my ways or even knock track days, outside of a very select few events, on the head. I would never want to spoil someone's day out there and I certainly wouldn't wish to cause anyone to have an accident, even if it is only in their trousers.
It's funny. It wasn't that long ago that Logan and I were having a chat about sprints vs trackdays. He, at the time, reckoned that trackdays lacked the edge that made sprinting relevant. He was frustrated by the removal of the genuinely competitive nature intrinsic to sprinting and felt that trackdays were largely processional, with people only allowed to overtake on the straights (and that's in danger of becoming regulated by how many thousands of powers that you have) At the time I assured him that trackdays were fantastic for seat time, great value for money and huge fun. 'Sprints are for those balls out, flat to the floor moments' I said, 'Trackdays are for consistency, car control practice and having a laugh with your mates' I said.
Time for me to have a chill pill and to be a LOT more selective about the events that I book so that I don't get released into the unsuspecting public without due warning
I hope you enjoy the videos Guys. I also hope my committed driving style hasn't put anyone off. I would like to think that the video also shows that I was concious of allowing space around the Clio, red 205, R34, TVR S and a few others before getting passed them. (By the way, if the guy with the black VXR reads this, you can have your wing mirrors back later
)
Thanks again Ben
Don't suppose I can borrow the camera for Sunday can I?
