As of yet we have had no confirmation of that mate.
Reading between the lines 1 per new car but as it stands from the paperwork we have as long as you own all 3 and they are all registered in your name for the past year and they all have current mot and tax or sorn then yes!!!
I am sure this wont be the case but that has not been firmly advised yet
Scheme starts mid may but will apply to orders placed from today onward for delivery after that date.

i think the trouble is that a so called shitter today is a country mile from a shitter of ten years ago, you can buy a car for the same as a couple of monthly payments on a new one with a very high spec and just throw it away when it breaks so why buy a new one at all . coupled with the damage caused when you park anywhere by idoits the shitter gets my vote at this moment in time.

2k for the Manta :thumb:
But as you all say there seem to be pro's and cons and there has to be a catch somewhere ?
10 year old cars these days are normally bloody good cars and can be bought and ran for a lot less than a new car, as I have just bought a 2002 Jeep cherokee CRD, 1 owner from new, MOT Dec 09, tax Jan 10, for

Ok boys and girls been working some figures and this is gonna be my sales tack for every call i make tomorrow.
Scenario/
Mr and mrs X work hard and income is low they have 2 kids and a mortgage they really should not have got.
They dont really see cars as fun or want to be thrilled by the car It has to do the job.
The old car is doing circa 35 ( they drive pretty economically) to the gallon and costs around

I think you have it spot on Jay. The customer looking for the cheap run around can now be easily sold into a new car with the warranty and safety that goes with it.
The second biggest customer group I can see is the younger driver, looking at those same cars. With the parents only too happy that they can get them out of the unsafe old car and into something with a modern crash rating they will help with the finance payments too. Hell, half the blokes at work are in that situation with their older kids.
Hope the next few months go well for you.

I cant just take the wheels LOL
Looking forward to some brisk weeks to come.
RPS13 you have a good point!!!
Note to self Make calls to local colleges and uni with flyers :-D :-D
In some ways i am glad i sell the lower end of the market as this is where this will end upbeing most effective.
Fiat as a brand has come a long way and though not perfect by any stretch they have some good value for money cars that do the job and of course everyone will love a discount on the 500 (Unavailable accross the country up to now)
Happy days :-D
