Blown Turbo
Copper Slip is not only for brake pads but is ideal for coating on bolt threads to lubricate them and prevent corrosion. Particularly useful where there's heat i.e. the turbo and exhaust bolts which will undo again much easier. Also good on wheel bolts/nuts.
Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away!
With all the messing around trying to solve the problem not sure where the boost is set which is why i was running it disconnected from the wastegate ro try and it to overboost..
I have have since found that the new air pipe from the new filter has been slightly squashed reducing the overall diameter so wondering if this could be a factor.
We hoovered out the exhaust to try and make sure that all exhaust paste was out.

I doubt the Hoover has as much suck as the exhaust has blow iyswim?
Maybe the squashed inlet pipe is causing the problem. It's not collapsing because the filter isn't big enough can't pass enough air is it? Just a thought.
Early Samco inlet pipes had a collapse problem on Imprezas, so I belive.
