Hello from another Newbie

Post by Harry »

Hello everyone

I am Harry and have just signed on, I am easily recognisable what hair I have left is the same colour as the car I drive

Bit of background I bought a Subaru WRX from Mike Shearing so any fast laps will be down to his preperation of the car

Giving it a run at Snetterton on Sunday along with Russell of the Yellow Subaru sport waggon

He is keen to enter into sprinting and as a ballance (he is the son in law) so am I and would be keen to pursue through Big Power

I am a bit tied up with work at the moment but as a point for thought what role is there for the older member in competative motorsport

Well time for Horlicks and bed

Harry

Hello

Post by Stevieb »

I came across big power after following an Impreza WRX wagon (with big power sticker in back window) that was being driven very 'enthusiastically', thought I would come and have a look and I like what I see.

I do sprints with the RAFMSA and won the championship last year :D . I also do some track days, Cadwell a few times, Donnington, Mallory (until stated smoking from engine bay - ouch  , engine rebuild), the Ring, Spa and I do some 12 car 'navigational' events.

Hope to come and participate in a bigpower trackday/sprints soon.
