Best case head gasket, worst case fucked cylinder liner. It was going to be tested on Tuesday next week, but it's going to be ripped apart now instead.

Just had a chat with Gary, HG has failed between 1-2 and 2-3 so nothing too serious. Block and head need to be skimmed flat to be safe. Top work by the guys means it hopefully will be dropped off for machining this afternoon :) Might have the old girl back for the weekend all being well :)

Woohoo!

About time Scott. That seems like ages since I've seen you bombing around in it.......any more plans? You never seem capable of leaving it alone :)

LOL, I did plan on a turbo change get up near 500bhp, if I do it will be a while yet. Need to finish the bungalow first :) Bonus at the end of that is *touch wood* I should have contingency left from my costs plus the VAT claim back

Definately need coilovers, need to kick Apex up the arse as I still haven't got my full alignment kit  even though I've been told it will take another 7-10 days at least 4 times :x

I've been driving Matts R34 during the week and it feels a lot tighter. Need to get the seat lower as well.

i hope the garage youre building is at least as big as the bugalow :) Good to hear the cars getting sorted, which arms did you go for? the spherical bearing ones are rock hard for road use :/

No garage at the moment unfortunately, maybe in the future.

I've got a pair of Apex rose joint camber arms and the rose joints are knackered. I've gone for the rubber bushed complete kit this time to allow full alignment with new suspension in the future :)

Good news from Apex, they are on the way today, delivery tomorrow :)

Got the car back from APT at the last meet at Snetterton, bit strange driving it again at first tbh. Not to worry, back in the swing of things now  got it run in for a short period and it was up to APT for an oil change and remap on Saturday.

Seeing as the both the head and the block were skimmed as well as going from a 2mm to a 1.2mm headgasket the timing was knocked back to be safe at the start. After mapping, the timing was back were it was and the graph pretty much the same as before. Quite strange seeing as it should now have a reasonbly higher CR.

It does feel a bit more responsive off boost so I'm happy with that :) I'll stick the graph up tonight with a bit of luck.

Intercooler pipe came off tonight so that'll give me something to do tomorrow night. MAP FTW :D Car still drives fine, just no boost.

Well after saying I didn't need brake upgrades, I just needed to look further down the road, I ended up buying some R33 GTR Brembos.

They are now making way though as I couldn't resist a set of these, check my sig for the deal :D

Should fit under the TE37's, but I'll get DC Developments to cut me a couple of 5mm spacers to be sure :D
