Gauges turned up from Summit so I started on the dash and getting things bolted where they need to go, took ages but I wanted it to look right

I tried using the handbrake but the brackets supplied were not up to the job so I made a Carbon surround to support the brackets - photos are a bit blurry but you can get the idea

Driving a fast Jap import is like coming out of the closet, you might surprise some people, but in the end you are still gay.

That's too many gauges for me Phil :o

I'd be too busy looking at them rather than where I was meant to be going

Does look good though, is the red bit on the left another gauge?

Hi Ady, the red bit on the left is a Vems AFR/EGT gauge, it actually looks more black in daylight but the flash on the camera has made it look like that. The Vems gauge is a really good bit of kit and although it doesn't match the other gauges it was too good not to put in

Nice one Phil, looks like you have enough gauges to cover everything the car can do 8)

The wiring in the footwell looks a bit scary though :help:

I've done a bit of re-wiring on previous cars and that was bad enough without having that many to deal with.

Look forward to actually seeing the car at some stage [-o<

I have made a start on the front end, I have been ordering parts from BMR in the states and have enough to try and get the front sorted. I have gone for a tubular K member and A arms aftermarket suspension QA1 and brakes with a pinto manual steering rack

Beat me to it about the rotors. they look the biz!!

Last time i saw something similar to those was on the superlightweight spanish road/track car called the ASPID.

They look like they've come of a very large mountain bike. Awesome :D
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!

The car is looking as brutal as ever Fil. That brake and suspension set up is superb. Does the venting in the disc help to disperse the heat? (I presume that's how they get away with using such a thin material for the disc)

That last picture is a really nice photo as it shows the obscene width at the back. You can only just tell where the tyre starts to end on the inside of the wheel..........what width are they again?

Are you getting itchy feet with this yet or still showing mind control that would make a Jedi envious?
