The 'best' tyre........that's going to open a right bloody can of worms :)

Mika (Kim Adams) may be your best bet for specifics as testing the buggers is what he gets paid to do.

However, from what I have read across several forums the Goodyear F1 Asymmetric seems to be very well regarded. Camskill do them for

Seems that Bridgestone RE070's are a favourite of many. Personally i've opted for Toyo T1-R's in the past as they have given allround superb performance. I've just fitted some khumo KU31's and am impressed so far
Don't know if this link will help? http://www.scoobycity.co.uk/phpBB2/view ... =9&t=42129

Unfortunately the RE070's arent readily available in 18's

KU31's are great on the Leon for road use.

Spoke to camskill today and they recomend as a good all round tyre hankook rs2 z212 which will do road and track because it has a stiff side wall performs well in wet and dry. they recon they are good for about 5000 miles due to the compond. they recon they will take quite alot of abuse? and for the price
