I know Zak burnt the paint of his brembo's last year....duncan wrote:The PF's arent eating discs - they are superb pads but the std brembo calipers, PF discs and them together are beyond their operating range now. i dont think it is a pad issue.
but the race variant of PF's are definitely more abrasive on discs than the Pagids.....
There is lots to choose from now in the way of good kits. Not sure if they will all fit your age of car.
I still feel the main benefit is finding the right pad/disc combination.
Oh and of course it also depends on the operator usage
Take regular exercise, walk to you car!
I should have thought with a car with Dunks power and weight that a proper brake kit was in order?
I don't see why Impreza's would be any different from any other cars that I've owned or driven?
Great to hear that you got on well at the weekend; I told you ages ago that the car was well up to decent lap times. Looks like you know you can BOTH do them now
Well done.

Yeah as you are putting almost or just over double the horsepower then they definitely need changing.
Ksports seem pretty good for price and seem to sponsor a number of the Time Attack cars.
Seriously though Dunk that car looks better everytime I see it. You've done well !!!!

What about one of those K-Sport 8pot front 6pot rear brake kits. I've looked at the prices and i think they are amazing value.
I read this pdf on their website. Looked interesting. http://www.ksport.co.uk/vids/Ksport-JP-July07.pdf

Constantly impressed with every aspect of the build and your development.
A proper example set by you both of determination and passion.
Good luck to you both and you deserve all the success in the world after all the effort
