Cheap daily driver.

I am after a cheap daily driver that I can occasionally fit the family in and my work tools. Need something that I can run for a few months until I get back on my feet and can afford to buy something else.

When I say cheap, I mean cheap cheap.

Anyone got anything? 3 series BMW sort of size would be best.

Have a look for a Citroen Xantia TD. Untypically of Citroen they're very reliable, loads of space in the back with the seats down, comfortable ride and you won't find anything cheaper and 45+ mpg. Get an HDi if you can.

There's 68 on ebay for a few hundred depending on how lucky the owner is feeling
