Russ, I've sent you an email with form attached.

The original is quite small but so long as your details are legible it'll be OK.

Anyone else wants an email attachment, let me have your email address :)

Now a stupid question.

If a car has a cage (rear cage) but all interior is left alone does it stay in road car class?

Another stupid question or two :?
If i re-install my rear seat, to fit in road going class, just how much interiour do you have to have? for example will i have to fit rear belts back in, do i have to re-fit the boot panels? i took them out to fit rear strut brace. I do have carpets, roof linning, door panels ect still fitted.
Cheers
Russ

You should be fine with just the seats Russ. The scrutineers are mainly concerned with safety. They check things like front seats fixied firmly, no play in steering wheel, battery fixed firmly, double return spring on throttle (all Scoobies have this as standard) They give the wheels a shake and generally look over the car for potential problems and anything that may fall off. Cages are permitted in roa going though not compulsory as they are for the modified classes. It's not an MOT. Lights, wipers etc. are not checked.

They also check for class conformity so road going has to have all the seats, run on list 1A tyres (normal road tyres) not things like Toyo 888s although Bridgestone RE070s are OK. For road going, when signing on you need to show your MOT, insurance and the car must be taxed. For all classes, MSA licence and club membership cards are checked.
