A lovely write up Tommy, you must be delighted that the investment in the car is paying off? :)

It looks superb. Will it be staying pure or will you be adding stickers at some point mate? I can think of a few that would look superb on there ;)

I think most of us that use treble 8's have never looked back. For me they still represent the best compromise between grip and forgiveness. You seem to be getting on well with them too.

So what's next in terms of mods or events?

Yeah Stuart, the car really does feel like it's paying off. I never thought it could be like how it is now when I first took the car out, in full weight trim, at Bedford last February. If the car could control the rear of the body a bit better when you have to transition quickly at speed (e.g. Maggotts, Craners) then it would be near perfect

Both Chris and I were talking about the development of the car on the day and we decided that it's as far as we want to take it now. For the cost to this point and ongoing typical maintenance costs, we have a competent car that doesn't feel particularly fast nor slow but can put in some great times and is cheap to run.

I'd like to experiment with stickers but, at the moment, money is required elsewhere so they'll have to be free or very cheap ones for the time being ;)

Next trip is Bedford near the end of April.

How do you get on for noise there? I would have thought you'd have been too noisy?

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away!
