Hi guys do we have anyone clued up on Home Alarms Etc?

Having suffered a loss from my Van last week (thieving scum) it has got my mind to overall security at home

Looking to add full Alarm for House & Garage perhaps with the addition of CCTV with recorder

So if you have some kit and its good let me know or if you are in the industry and can give me some pointers let me know

I've got an older black and white version connected upto a DVD-HDD recorder. Gives a picture like this...

cheers drifter i am thinking similar does the soft ware just save to HD and overwrite the oldest recording when full??

Jason to lazzy to walk the dog but they work for sure

Dogs are indeed a mans best friend, but at least with a Hard Drive, you dont have to pick up its sh1t every day.

But you don't get a greeting from an alarm system (except an unwelcome one) and no false alarms with a dog

Liam, there seem to be some rather good wireless kits now available from B&Q ... however not sure if you self fit that they benefit your insurance.
