i was woundering if that was a ford engine you had then i sore the
good old trusty haynes manual :-D
with those carbs on it will sound like a good old sckool mk1/mk2 escort.
nice car indeed top marks that man.
if its a sierra pinto engine then thats 116bhp and with those carbs
on ull free up some power and bag load of torque, the air intake
and exhuast system did hold the engine back.

Well done Lee.
Tigers are one of the better kits and they are local if you need anything too.

Credit must go to my dad, its ownership is shared but most of the graft is down to him. I step in when he goes off track and bolts extras on like he did on the first build and when he gets stumped. He even sprayed this one in a single garage.

Carbs sound ace, just re-jetted them as where originally fitted to a higher spec engine. Been having fuel pump issues over the last few weekends, the over-hauled engine was previously built up with parts missing causing sudden death of two mechanical pump

Tiger is only down the road 15miles'ish, definitely a great kit but the final product is all down to what effort you put in where say a cateram its just giant mechano and the finish is the same for all of them.

Looks great mate and i presume tiger have gad the forsight to consider SVA when they designed the kit.
I built a Robin hood over some considerable years and it was a nightmare The kit drove nice once i had changed 30% of it.
Good luck with the SVA test (worst bit is the external radius rule) also the markings on lights etc.
Is this being done at Norwich? If so the chap is a proper petrol head and great to deal with He is honest and straightforward with answers and advice (even though they are not supposed to offer it!!!)
