The boys at APT

Post by Nik »

As has become customary, I must compliment the boys at APT.

They are a highly professional and talented crew. I took my car in to get what I was told was turbo gaskets changed and once they had stripped it down they discovered that it was infact two studs from the manifold had snapped off causing the gasket there to blow qite severely.

Needless to say the remenants of stud were somewhat difficult to remove. (read as "pain in the arse")

It did take longer than expected but it obviously would with all the extra work to remove the studs and helicoil (SP) to enable new ones to be put in.

I cannot recommend APT highly enough to anyone who wanted any work done on their car.

Top job lads (and Debbie for the assistance ;) ) I owe you all a drink at the meet in march.
I may be getting older but I REFUSE to grow up :D

Being so far from Norwich I've never actually been to APT but I have had cause to speak with Gary a couple of time.

I find his advice helpful, informative and absolutely spot on.

By the sounds of things, his work is too.

No chance sunshine! I've replaced the Xantia with a C5 2.2 HDI 136 BHP 232ft/lb. Gary can up those figures quite significantly :D
