Just got regs for this through today and there's no Class 5 for roadgoing 4wd and D7, 8 & 9 is 2wd only with a D10 for 4wd.

Have I missed something? I thought all events in the region would run to new championship classes eg AEMC.

Weird....not seen them yet, that sounds very odd though!

Thought the new Roadgoing class for 4WD was B4 and the modified was still D8 :?

Sold the Evo yet sir??

Are you thinking of entering this one :?: :?:

No and no.

Not tried to sell evo yet. Change in job arrangements means it'll probably be my road car for a while.

And NW will not tempt me out - I'll probably come along, though

Ahh okay, anything exciting??

Didn't think you'd enter, I'm not sure if I'll do it or not yet....if you had been then that probably would of motivated me more to do it :!:

Regs arrived this morning and as Kim says, no segregation for 4wd in Class B but there is in D.

So we now have two sets of classes?

There's no mention of class structure in the B19 champ regs.

Like you said, Foobar.

I think everyone will be getting an email to clarify.

"I have spoken to Chris Sharp and she has asked that Roadgoing 4WD entrants put Class B 4WD on their entry forms to save renumbering the classes and reissuing."

Looks like D10 stands.

So to summarise:

B3 HAD sufficient numbers to ensure maximum points were earned by the winner and places. D8 was looking good this year for sufficient numbers.

All that has now changed and with the recession probably meaning fewer entries, it's anyones guess.

Stu should do well in D9, he'll be on his own this year, if he enters any.

D9?? You are kidding I hope. The only reason I'll go sprinting is to compete directly against some of my mates.

I'll be honest, I won't be doing this one anyway, but the D9 thing is a bit poo. Maybe I'll just tell 'em it's four wheel drive?
