I'm the same as Logan, never been mentioned at scrutineering. I do have a hand held by the pax seat but also one of these that I thought would be a better arrangement and cheapest I could find.

ok cheers, another question then, in the blue book it mentions for the plumbed in systems you need two points of triggering one internally and one externally is this mandatory as i fancied the plumbed in system but as my car lives on the road at home im not wanting some little scrot bag walking along and triggering it for a laugh :)

As the triggers are cable pulls, I imagine you can disconnect the external pull cord from the extinguisher.

Maybe someone (Stu) who has fitted this system can answer from experience. :)

There is a safety pin on the fire extinguisher which is inside the car so if someone does pull the cord it won't fire unless you have armed the system

Driving a fast Jap import is like coming out of the closet, you might surprise some people, but in the end you are still gay.

Thanks Phil. A great help. I'd better get on and fit mine :)
