A bit of snow and basically the country closes down and is in chaos!!!!

No getting to work for me as A12 and M25 are ruined

I know, I feel I'm part of it as I'm not going to work but I would rather be chilling at home than stuck in traffic seeing as the inept authorities can't handle a bit of snow, and everyone just goes into a state of panic and crashes

I'm going to go outside and fix a couple of little bits on the Impreza so I can get it MOT'd and need a chip in the windscreen fixed I'd forgot about, so off to call about that.

The matrix signs last night on the M25 warned off the conditions, and restricted the speed limits. SOME people ignored them, and slid on the sheet ice at 70 and crashed. A friend of mine has spent all night with the fire brigade dealing with crashes and cutting people out of cars.
As soon as the major roads suffer, we all suffer.
It'll never be any different while peoples attitudes to driving remain as cavalier as they largely do.

On the plus side, I get to play snowballs with my son, rather than dealing with less desireable element of society :D
