Test fitted the seat

Currently you sit about 4 1/2 inches lower in the car, may have to raise it slightly but really happy with how it fits

Trackday booked for Feb 8Th

Got a few things to do before hand

Welding (got a few holes to fill)
Fit both seats to car
Weld in a bar to attach/ wrap the harnesses to
Hope to be able to make and fit some aluminiun doorcards
Give the old girl a service

Think that will be it for this one but have a few other plans

Fit a checker plate floor in both front footwells
Re-route the brake lines and fit a bias valve ane refill with race fluid
Paint the inside of the car with Hammerite
Fit a dead pedal next to the clutch

Both front seats and harnesses are now fitted :-D

Wanted to give the car a service before Sun but it may have to wait till after now.

Whats the deal with the rear wheels looking smaller track than the front ?
Is it just the photo or is there some scope for increasing the track either by spacers or wheel offset.
Wider footprint - lower centre of gravity - better handling..

Love these old school Beemers Something very brutish about them.

That will be the 20mm spacers on the front and not on the rear! so yes there is a bit of scope to increase the track

40mm wider track !!!! nice
Suz has benefitted she feels from a tiny 20mm in comparison

would love to know the maths behind centre of gravity etc
Gonna call chris and see what the low down is so to speak
