Duncans is an extreme example but your car is almost the same
Have i been asleep for the last 5 years ? It always used to be the domain of the V8 etc to have the hp /lbs upside down but that does not seem to be the case any more. Are there many other cars that operate this way?
Super car bet you will be sorry to see it go. My weapon of choice as a pure track day car would be a sylva with a V8  Racing series proven and not silly money. Good luck whichever way you go

TBH i'm no expert on the torque vs HP discusion. But as you say, most cars tend to develop lower torque than BHP...
As for Dunc's extreme example.... his is a lardy new age!
Take regular exercise, walk to you car!

all that torque comes from using smaller turbos with big engines

evos do it too with greens and reds great sprint cars but not so good on a open track
