Have you got an induction kit on that Francis?

Might be worth getting hold of one with a 70mm + ID MAF housing to enable you to rescale to suit that without having to rejig all the other tables.

Perrin, APS or KSTech seem to be the larger ID than std.

When i was at RCM the other day they had some induction systems on show that looked interesting but if i remember rightly they had a std size ID tube where the MAF sits even though the cone filter on it was huge and the rest of the tube was 76mm ID.

I'll take a look at those you've listed. Possibly a CAI in the wing cavity rather than the shorter under the bonnet type. The max i can rescale to is 350g/s although that's still a fair bit further up the scale to where i am now.

I wish i had the dosh right now as i would just go and get a new ECU and MAP sensor and get rid of the MAF altogether.

yeah much above 350 g/sec and it makes it very hard to map using the MAF unfortunately :(

It is interesting pushing the boundaries though.

btw - nice working on the porting - any pics?

Not a single pic i'm afraid. It was so cold in the garage even with a heater and i was just so into getting the job done it didn't occur to me. I had my PDA with me too but the pics it takes aren't brilliant and wouldn't of done the work justice.

My hands were bashed up and cut to shreds and all i had in my mind was just to get the job done and get out of the garage. It gave me something to do during the holiday and while Hazel was in Paris on business last week. I only just finished putting it all back together yesterday afternoon.

I suppose i could take it all apart again and take some pics........no bloody chance!!...unless you get me a new pair of hands and a nice warm garage with a car lift!!
