That does look awesome indeed.. 8)

But, them arches/wheels above are wider than the wheels you are planning to use, but then again who cares as long as it works and is legal.

Re; the rear diffuser thingie.

Depending on where you have your upper 'roof' of the diffuser, could you not have the exhaust exiting through the boot lid, or through the passenger side of the rear bumper (on the side, IYSWIM)..?

Exiting on the passenger side may be difficult because the pipe run underneath is on that side and I would need quite a sharp bend in the pipe to get the back box in there and the exit there.

I should be able to run the pipe that goes below the rear axle horizontal after the axle and out the rear bumper line with the back box in line.

This would enable the diffuser to have a unobstructed route from just before the rear axle in a soft sweep upwards. This should join it up with the existing flat floor sections and/or a new flat floor if that gets fitted early on in the project.

Some of the rear bumper will be cut away if needed and the diffuser will have to go around the diff.

it is not going to be exclusively track but rachel wants a truck and it makes sense for that to have a tow bar :whistle:

I had a good look under the car yesterday to plan out the exhaust mod - this should be pretty easy with cutting the existing pipe around the axle and twisting the upswept part clockwise to raise the upswept part about 6 inches.

Another cut and twist before the backbox will ensure the slash cut of the tailpipe remains true to the car bodywork.

I don't think any additional pipework will be required.

Finished ... hopefully in time for round 1 but the bodywork and graphics will be done by the end of feb so that I start fully testing suspension/ecu/fueling changes during march/april.

Will you testing on a couple of different circuits or at snetterton. We are hoping to do some testing at Donnington although Donny is closed until around mid feb. so not sure what will be available in march.

It depends what I can book at the last minute tbh. Snetterton is a good test for me as I know the circuit and should be able to tell if it is getting quicker rather than just my circuit knowledge improving.

Duncan - Hows your experementing with E85 going? What mix are you using now, and gains?

The skyline is in to get a new fuel system and mapped just now.... I'm going to add a bit of E85 to see how it goes... Maybe just 10% to start with.
