Going in next week, along with a new cam (cheers Christian and Gary). :woohoo:

It'll have a couple of runs down the A11 over Christmas and the New Year and hopefully the slipping issue will be sorted. Then I've just got to sort out an RS 'box.

Will you still be coming along mate?

I would love to, but I suspect the straights are too long for my gearing.

In that case, you'll never do a track day anywhere.

The straights are only there to join up the corners. Just take it easy along the straight and enjoy the bendy bits.
Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away!

That has got to rate as one of the best racing excuses I have heard in a long time :) Only one way to find out whether the gearing is too long.........get your arse out there and try it :thumb:

As Gerry said, the straights are only there for chasing mates, hassling slow moving Caymans and the like :) You obviously compete in your Charade. How do you get on on sprints?

Oh, by the way, what's the indicated top speed on your car?
