I hate bloody cars and this one, this year, in particular :x

Got my cans ready for a trip for some Morrisins' E85 and the bloody clutch is seized. It just won't release (twin plate Exedy).

Tried starting it in gear and jarring it back and forwards also tried a breaker bar and long pole on the crank pulley nut, in gear, clutch down but still it won't release.

Have a good day tomorrow. Yet again I have to cry off

Gerry

Before you chuck the towel in, maybe a call to Gary at APT would help? He is the only Exedy master dealer I know of and, obviously, he is a handy old boy to know when the debris hits the fan.

I think he was out Salsa dancing from 5.30 onwards. I haven't had a phone call from him, so I suspect it hasn't been resolved.

A real shame

Gerry said earlier that he would do his best to get it sorted one way or another in the morning and head over as soon as he could.

Hopefully he'll pull something out of thin air with a fix and join us around 11am
